Fire reaction solutions, Facade protection – Ventilated double-skin facade, EI 30–60

The protection of ventilated façades requires systems capable of instantly sealing the air cavity in the event of a fire. This Global Building solution involves the use of intumescent joints and fire barriers specifically designed for ventilated cavities. The system allows natural breathability and air circulation under normal conditions, but reacts promptly to heat, ensuring smoke and flame tightness behind the external skin (whether closed or open).
