Floor Access Cover, Series 5000 multidoor aluminium

The Series 5000 BS EI120 is a floor inspection cover for indoor and outdoor floor ducts, intended for projects where high quality and orderly technical access are required. It is a fillable concept designed to keep the inspection manhole cover visually discreet once the floor finish is completed, with specific focus on fire protection systems.

Materials and build-up

The system features an aluminium frame and tray. The tray depth is 37 mm and the installation height is 50 mm. It includes three special gaskets around the entire perimeter to support a controlled, precise closure over time.

Installation and opening

Installation must be carried out professionally according to the installation instructions. The frame is fixed by casting at floor level; afterwards, the tray can be filled and inserted into the frame. The lid is secured with 4 tightening screwsand can be removed using the dedicated tightening and lifting keys, supplied together with the installation manual. The tray can be filled with tiles, concrete, resin, granite, interlocking blocks, wood and hard floors, as well as other materials.

Fire protection

The cover provides 120 minutes fire protection and includes a 25 mm fire protection plate. Listed advantages include an almost invisible finish once installed, easier opening thanks to the conical design, short production lead times, and in-house production. For handling, the use of the EasyLifter is recommended.
