In its suspension version, Astral Trellis becomes a light, floating luminous presence, capable of transforming spaces with elegance and visual depth. Its perforated pattern, inspired by girih motifs reinterpreted in a contemporary key, casts shifting plays of light and shadow across surfaces, creating atmospheres rich in nuance and dynamism.
Suspended like a graphic sign in the air, the finely crafted stainless steel head emits a light that furnishes and defines the space with subtlety. Perfect for porches, loggias, entrances, or covered outdoor areas, the suspended Astral Trellis combines functionality and poetry, letting the light tell a different story each time.

Technical Specifications

Body made of primary aluminum alloy. Pole and mounting base made of CNC-machined AISI 304 stainless steel. Diffuser made of AISI 304 stainless steel mesh. The optical system is based on high-intensity COB LEDs, featuring a color rendering index above 90 and a clean design with no visible screws.
The lighting body undergoes a multi-stage galvanic anodization process — mechanical satin finishing, degreasing, anodic oxidation, and sealing — which enhances both durability and surface finish.
A dual-layer in-line coating process is then applied (epoxy primer followed by polyester finish), creating a thick, uniform protective film. The combined action of anodization and coating forms a highly effective barrier against weather and UV exposure, ensuring salt-spray corrosion resistance far superior to standard market performance.

Prior to glass bonding, Platek products undergo atmospheric-pressure plasma surface treatment. This process activates the surface energy precisely where needed, ensuring excellent wettability and removing any release-agent residues for long-lasting adhesion. The subsequent steps include silicone application and automated glass assembly onto the lighting body, guaranteeing perfect sealing of the fixture.
