The spike-mounted version of Balina M is an outdoor lamp with a strong poetic character, designed to blend gracefully and elegantly into green spaces. Balina draws inspiration from the simplicity of glass marbles, reinterpreted in a luminous key through a transparent spherical glass body.
Mounted on a spike, this version integrates seamlessly into natural landscapes: it can be placed freely on lawns, along pathways, or at the edges of hedges and shrubs, transforming the garden into a narrative and evocative environment. During the day, it appears as a discreet and refined object; at night, it becomes a soft, atmospheric luminous presence.
Ideal for residential areas, parks, hotels, or private gardens, the spike version of Balina combines formal elegance, high-quality materials, and compositional freedom, becoming a luminous accent in dialogue with nature.

Technical specifications

Body made of aluminum alloy, stem in AISI 304 stainless steel. Diffuser in high-resistance blown glass. Spike in AISI 316L stainless steel. Equipped with a proprietary optical system. Supplied with high-intensity LEDs featuring a color rendering index above 90. No visible screws. Screws in A4 stainless steel.

Balina M Spike undergoes an advanced galvanic anodization process divided into several stages: mechanical satin finishing, degreasing, anodic oxidation, and final sealing to achieve a stable and durable surface. This is followed by a dual-layer coating process — epoxy primer and polyester finish — which creates a thick, uniform, and resistant protective layer. The combination of anodization and coating forms a highly effective barrier against weathering and UV exposure, ensuring salt-spray corrosion resistance far superior to common market standards.

Glass bonding on Platek products is preceded by an atmospheric-pressure plasma pretreatment. This process activates surface energy exactly where needed, ensuring optimal wettability and removing any release-agent residue to guarantee long-lasting adhesion. The following steps include silicone application and automated glass assembly on the lighting body, ensuring perfect sealing of the fixture. IP65, IK05.
