Tikal is a modern, compact step light with a clean, essential design, created for discreet integration into walls or posts. It provides wide, refined asymmetric lighting thanks to its advanced optical system, ensuring safety and visual comfort. Suitable for outdoor spaces such as pathways, staircases, and residential environments. This lighting system combines LED efficiency, durability, and minimalist aesthetics, enhancing architecture without intruding on the space.

Technical features

Body made of primary aluminum. Mounting brackets in AISI 304 stainless steel. Supplied with a proprietary optical system made of PMMA. Color rendering index greater than 90. No visible screws. Screws in A4 stainless steel.
The product undergoes a galvanic anodizing treatment divided into distinct phases: mechanical satin finishing, surface degreasing, anodic oxidation, and final sealing. It is then painted using a double-coat in-line process (epoxy-based primer + polyester-based topcoat), creating a single high-thickness protective layer. This process, combined with the prior anodizing treatment, creates a barrier effect against atmospheric agents and UV rays, allowing the product to achieve salt spray corrosion resistance performance exceeding market standards.

The bonding of the glass on Platek products is preceded by a surface pre-treatment using atmospheric-pressure plasma. This process activates surface energy exactly where needed, ensuring excellent wettability and removing any release agent residues, resulting in long-lasting adhesion. The subsequent steps include silicone application and assembly of the glass onto the luminaire body through an automated process, guaranteeing perfect lamp sealing.
