Hotbath is a brand founded in 2009 by a team of Italian and Dutch professionals with the aim of producing in Italy taps and mixers for the Dutch market.
Quickly becoming the leading brand in the Netherlands, in 2016 Hotbath started to distribute its products also in other European (in particular Belgium, France and Spain) and non-European markets.
In 2019, the Hotbath brand was acquired by the Swedish FM Mattsson Group, founded in 1865 and listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
The Dutch-Italian team ensured the continuity of company management and remained at the helm of the two operating subsidiaries: Hotbath Srl in Italy and Hotbath BV in the Netherlands.
The products are designed by Hotbath and entirely manufactured in Italy by a network of 7 specialised suppliers, all located in the Orta-Valsesia district of Piedmont specialising in the production of faucets: all 7 suppliers have ISO9001 certification issued by accredited bodies.
All Hotbath products comply with European standards for sanitary faucets (EN817 for single lever mixers, EN200 for sanitary faucets, EN1111 for thermostatic mixers) and are manufactured using only materials suitable for drinking water consumption according to the European Drinking Water Directive 2020/2184.
In addition, a number of Hotbath products are available in low-lead versions compliant with US NSF372 (list available at https://info.nsf.org/Certified/Lead_Content/).
Hotbath is committed to the implementation of sustainability policies as part of the activities of the FM Mattsson AB group, which was awarded a ‘silver’ rating by Ecovadis in 2023.
