The journey continues to oriental countries like China with the Be Grateful Wall Paper by Novacolor collection. Inspired by the fishing nets used by fishermen in Quanzhou, the Nets patter is identified with warm and bright colours, enriched with metallic details.
Known as ‘Cheena’ Vala' or Chinese fishing nets, they are lifting structures that have been used for over 500 years for fishing. Originating on the south coast of China, in Quanzhou, they were introduced to India in the 14th century by the Chinese explorer Zheng He, particularly in Cochin, where their bamboo and teak design has stood the test of time. Apart from being a means of livelihood, they are now a tourist attraction, particularly impressive at sunrise and sunset.
Give your environment an oriental touch with Novacolor's Nets textures that can be downloaded for free on this page. In addition to the textures, the catalogue, technical data sheets and product demonstration images are also available for download.
