Inspection manhole, SA3-TR / SA3-RI System - Inspection cove

What it is

SA3-TR is part of the FF Systems inspection manhole cover range for service wells and technical chambers, where a robust and clearly identifiable surface is required. It features a tread plate, with power-assisted opening and a shatterproof configuration, supporting operational safety requirements in the detail.

Construction features

The cover is made from 4 mm thick tread sheet metal and includes an internal locking device to prevent accidental closing. Opening is facilitated by hydraulic pistons and sturdy hidden hinges; the lid can open up to about 100°. The closure is indicated as self-tightening with an oval brass cap.

Frame & gasket

The technical sheet describes frames made with a stainless steel profile, either with pre-drilled fins and dowels for direct installation on concrete or zanches to be fixed during the concrete pour. A replaceable perimeter gasket resistant to atmospheric agents is included.
